Data Location & Providers

Usage Recording

We, mapstudio.ai, do not store IP addresses on other servers in our usage records – only anonymized data such as map views, load success/failure reports, and used browser to prove the use of our services and error analysis.

Usage data is processed and encrypted by us exclusively on servers within the EU. This data is stored for verification purposes for up to one year and then destroyed. It does not contain any personal data or data that allows conclusions about a user's identity.

Vercel & Cloudflare as US Providers

🇺🇸 US Infrastructure

mapstudio.ai uses Vercel (US-based) and Cloudflare (US-based) for map delivery and optimized data loading via a CDN (Content Delivery Network). Depending on the visitor's region, server requests may also be processed in US data centers.

Cloudflare stores both access data and IP addresses for up to 12 hours for security and error analysis purposes when a request is made. Vercel stores access logs, estimated geolocation, and IP addresses for up to one day for security and error analysis purposes.

Cloudflare and Vercel are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and can therefore be safely used as data processors for data processing within the EU. Certifications:

Nevertheless, for transparency purposes, we recommend integrating a note into your privacy policy stating that requests may be processed in the USA.
