What is mapstudio.ai?
At mapstudio.ai, we offer an innovative online platform that allows you to quickly and easily design and download custom maps. Maps can be effectively used for marketing purposes, for example.
Who can use mapstudio.ai?
We have specifically designed and optimized our software to meet the needs of businesses. Unfortunately, private customers are excluded from using our software.
How can I access the platform?
We've made access as simple as possible: Just use your Google login or conveniently register with your email address.
Is mapstudio.ai free to use?
We offer a free tier that allows you to create and manage up to 3 maps. This gives you the opportunity to see for yourself what our software can do. For more extensive needs, we offer subscription plans based on the number of maps you want to create and manage.
In what format and resolution can maps be downloaded?
You can choose between common formats like PNG, JPEG, and WebP. By default, we offer generous resolutions of up to 5000x5000 pixels. Need even higher resolutions? Feel free to contact us!
What billing options are available?
We offer either subscription plans with annual billing or one-time purchases for individual downloads. Our subscription plans range from the free tier (up to 3 maps) to the Enterprise tier (1000+ maps). Each subscription plan includes features like commercial use rights, unlimited editing and downloading of map images, and unlimited custom map styles. If you want to acquire permanent licenses for individual maps, you can add download credits and redeem them through downloads.
How are subscriptions billed?
Subscriptions can be billed generally yearly. If other billing options are required, please contact us via support or email at hi@mapstudio.ai.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your usage license for the maps expires, meaning you may no longer use the maps for digital appearances, advertising purposes, or new print runs. However, we also offer you the option to purchase a permanent license for a one-time fee.
What does the license for maps include?
You can use your maps for both digital and print purposes without restrictions (reselling or sublicensing is not permitted). If you cancel your subscription or delete a map in the system, the license for that particular map expires. The free tier does not include a license for commercial use.
Can licenses for maps be resold?
To ensure quality and legal security for all users, sublicensing or reselling is not permitted. Licenses are not transferable. Contact us with questions or for individual arrangements. For agencies: If you act in the name of your client, you're client is the owner of the licenses.
